I had faced the boot issue today on my pa4x which was having OS 3.1.0.

I did the formating using the OS 2.0.0. it was not happening. Updated used to fail again and again.

after researching on the internet one our forum member "musiccankill" mentioned the same as below. Thanks to "musiccankill"

The mistake I did was, I extracted the files to single pkg file (pkg.001,2,3,4,5....)

The files should be as it is from .001 to .005. just select the first one, then the reset/format works fine.

Pa4X_OS_and_Resources_v200.pkg.001
Pa4X_OS_and_Resources_v200.pkg.002
Pa4X_OS_and_Resources_v200.pkg.003
Pa4X_OS_and_Resources_v200.pkg.004
Pa4X_OS_and_Resources_v200.pkg.005

then update the OS to the latest one.

I am sharing my experience..... it may help others.
