Hello.
I don't own one of these synths so I can only tell you what I've read in the past about them. It can take a very long time for them to warm-up / tune. This is totally normal. It can take anywhere between 5 minutes to 30 minutes in some cases.

You should also make sure you are running the latest firmware because KORG has had to address tuning issues with a firmware update.

Hope that helps.

Kind regards
Sharp.

I've updated my post above.
It can take as long as 30 minutes in some cases.

Regards
Sharp.

I believe Sharp was talking about the warm up period from a cold power on.

The tuning procedure at start up should only take 15-20 seconds. Then it should be playable. You've already found the way out when it gets stuck...Power cycle. Someone over at GS also said that pushing Shift + Exit will stop the tuning procedure if it gets stuck. Haven't had the opportunity to try it yet though.

Hi! I had my Prologue for 11 months now, never had a problem like that. 30 minutes for tunning is outrageous, it just takes 15-20 seconds. Check with Korg Service, you have a major problem there.
