I do the same thats the manual for songbook edit tels me.
But then i come to this:

"Opening the SongBook
Before editing, open the SongBook files from the internal memory of the instrument.
In SongBook Editor, choose the File > Open command, and browse the files
in the internal memory of the instrument."

I onely get the harddrive!

And i most ask; That instrument?

The SONGBOOK software is designed to "OPEN" a saved SET comprising the SONGBOOK data.

You can save a set onto USB drive or the internal KORG DISK.

If the SET is on a USB drive then of course you simply load the SET on that into SONGBOOK EDITOR on your computer (PC).

If the SET is on the internal KORG DISK, then you attach a USB cable to the "USB Device" port and the other end into your PC then you must "ENABLE" the KORG DISK in the PA300 MEDIA mode so that your PC can see it as an attached disk. After this you can load the SET from it on your PC into the SONGBOOK editor.
You MUST perform the "DISABLE" on the keyboard before detaching the USB cable.
See page 181 in the latest PA300 User Manual

Hope this helps.
