I am a new Kronos 2 User,

Why doesn't my individual 'edited' program sound as good and full when I call it up in combi mode? It seems like the edits I made to the individual program don't come over with the program into the combi? The edits I am making to the program are basic things like eq and effects.

Thanks Much.

Likely your Combis have additional FX like MFX, TFX
See the tabs that display them.

The FX implementation of Kronos takes some time to follow.

Thanks Greg,

This is what I am doing and trying to accomplish.

I created a Rhodes/Strings split in Combi mode. Then I went back to Programs and selected a Rhodes I liked, and then proceeded to edit it to get it closer to what I wanted. I figured this would be my main Rhodes sound and that I would bring in maybe 2 other El Piano Programs around it to support the sound I was looking for by laying them. That all worked fine and I am using a total of 3 different sounding el pianos layered together, but the main edited Rhodes program does not have the eq and reverb/chorus edits I made to it in Program mode.

I am A, B'ing between my Combi & Program button and what I'm clearly missing in the Combi mode version of my edited program, are both the reverb and eq. I accentuated those 2 effects when in the program and saved the Program with the edits to a new user ID.

Then I go to combi mode and open up one of the 16 slots and find my edited program where I saved it, select it, and those 2 effects are not present at all in that program. It just goes back to the dry and flat factory Rhodes sound. I am even soloing also to confirm that's what is happening.

I have a TritonStudio as well, and I thought I remembered having to select whether I wanted the effects to come over with the Program into combi or not...?

Hmmm..

Use the Copy from program function in the top menu. Then select/import whatever effects you want the combi to use.
