Being a complete newbie to the PA1000 and not being afraid to push buttons...LOL...I seem to have successfully lost my entire songbook...dugh.
How can I recover it? Remember I'm a newbie and old!! |

I think that in all your button pressing you pressed a button inside one of the menus that said Initialize Songbook.
It is totally stupid of Korg to have this function so easily accessed and you are not the first and will not be the last to loose Sb.
Pressing the button will have totally wiped your Songbook and all the Setlists.
Load your Backup file and then load the SaveAll file and all should be OK.
Now you are probably going to say that you did not backup?
If that is the case ring the dealer or return to the dealer with the PA1000 and have them restore the keyboard.
Whilst you are there have them go through the basics with you.
Once you are back up and operating but before you start randomly pushing buttons do watch the entire Korg Video Manual series of video tutorials on your 1000 then you will be better equipped to deal with your 1000.
