Would be interested to know if the Pa700 Red had any additional resources to the standard version.

That is what I am hoping Thursdays webinar will reveal.

It would be inline with what Korg have done with special editions such as the release of the Kross 2 Neon versions which included additional content which is now available to install in the non neon versions.

Are you guys for real ?
I wouldn't get my knickers in a twist if I were you.
Safe bet there won't be anything worthwhile in this "scoop "......

But I have had the usual Korg invite which includes the text:-
.
.
.
Based on the Pa700, this outstanding keyboard features additional voices and styles, together with professionally programmed registrations and EQ settings to create a superb overall sound.
.
.
.
Additional Voices & Styles, plus Registrations so yes new content.

I would be interested in the new styles and sounds. On Korg's page, it still says that the specs are identical to the existing model.

Grace,
Harry

Yes.

I am assuming that the specs being identical refer to the Technical hardware and not to the updatable content.

Pa700 RED. This particular dealer Keysound in Leicester gives with each purchase a USB Stick with extra stuff he has put together, mainly Registrations
so I'm not expecting to see anything new from Korg.

Red is a limited edition with a price of c£1200 v standard 700 and its price of c£950.

So for £250 more then yes I would certainly expect more than a colour scheme.

Here in the USA, the PA700 RD appears to be the same price as the regular PA700 - at $1,299 USD.

Watching the webinair at this very moment.
What a terrible performances this is. They are presenting this as if the people tuned in have never ever set eyes on a PA before. And boy do not dare to ask questions a bit critcical, I have already been banned from asking anything, hahaha. What a killer !!!

So far not clear to me whether the EXTRA content that all this is supposed to be about is actually nothing else but intensive programming of new Keyboard Sets ( similar to my JS Resources for PA1000) or whether there are actually new samples at the root of all of this. There should be and they should then be on the sd card that goes in at the back. Similar to the German extension calles "Musikant ", which incidentally I have installed in my PA1000 and which is great...

What a terrible performance here though.......

John

Very disappointing.

There are only 25 Red’s here in the UK and all at the Company of the Webinar, others are available at a premium price via other retailers but no info re additional content..

The additional content from the Company in the webinar appears to be simply Registrations, Styles, Songs and Setlist's all run off a USB stick that the said Company have created.

In other words it is similar to Osimo in context.

Certainly not worth the additional £250.

Interesting to see if it will be available to buy on a USB stick direct from Keysound.

The Korg Guru’s have something similar the USB sticks from them are £50 for 100 songs and buying more of their content can soon add up in total cost.

Missied tonights episode will catch up later. I see the next Korg Webinar is for the Krome so are they moving away from content for Arrangers.

I really think they should have timed the release with a next style os update.

James

No they are continuing the Arranger webinars.

There are to be new additional webinars on Synths.

27 Nov is Synths

28 Nov is Arrangers but not sure of content.

The Red is disappointing, the additional content is a USB stick created by Keysound.

Concur. The 'Red' webinar was a bit of a letdown. Largely aimed at newcomers, it seemed, what with Christmas around the corner. I'd go so far as to say Adam looked almost bored.
