Installing Ver 3.1.0 Question

I know that to install Version 3 you had to delete user samples.
Is this still the procedure when installing Ver 3.1.0

No.... as long as you are already a OS 3.0.0 or above....
Update Manual wrote:
Before updating the OS (if an OS versions older than v3.0 is
already installed), be sure to clean the User Sample Memory.
Failing to do so will prevent the new OS from loading.
