I own a PA4x myself.

Is it worth buying this? To create setlists and edit and sounds etc etc...?

See their website for the fine details ( https://www.korgpamanager.com/ )
There are limitations for PA4X V3

For just basic sound editing and set lists, I personally would not buy it just for that.
But have a look at all its features before deciding.

For me, it is too expensive.

Cheers

Here’s a man that speaks the truth..
Yes it is a great fabulous wonderful program….
For all the features it has that it has , they are already in the keyboard….
Also For me, it is too expensive.
And they locked you down only one computer can use the program and you have to be on the Internet so they could check your key,,, if I buy Hey computer program I wanna be able to put it on any of my other computer without a headache windows does it they don’t…
And if you look at it they don’t offer much at all… most of the items or things that you wanna do they say we will add that in the next update which never comes kinda like korg
They always say things like Improved OS Support. Or Internal Stability Improvements… it’s all sales
Again it’s all sales if you like it buy it ………. It only the price of dinner … so buy it … but you won’t get the dessert that you were looking for….
Again this is just my opinion people love it

Thanks for the replies. What I was hoping to find is a librarian program to edit my Set List with. My wife and I have a duo and we’re constantly redoing our set list and the ability to edit them on a computer would be great!
Is it possible to have more than one Songbook?

I use it to merge PADs / Styles & KeboardSet from multi SET
easy and useful to collect styles from multi SET without thinking about DRUM KITS/ USER SOUNDs , there are many important features but nothing for setlist

About NEXT operation system

Is PA4X OS v3 NeXT Supported?
Yes. The current version of KORG PA Manager v3.3 supports the latest OS NeXT.
However, please note that MAX RAM Size remains at 400MB and not 1.5GB.

Due to technical challenges, the core of the software needs to be re-written so it adapts the 1.5GB RAM change. As a result, FULL OS NeXT support will be available in the next Major version 4 of the software, which will be released sometime towards the beginning of 2020.
Additionally v4 will consist of many great new features.

Please note: *Major versions are subject to a £50 GBP upgrade fee from v3. *Price dependant on License version.

Yes - you can mix DIRECT songbook with internal songbook and you can have as many as you want on your media - just the one you want, when you want.

Very Happy

Υοy can have 2 songbooks, one internal and one direct,
but there is no need for that since all the sounds and styles you use
are on the same set.

What you really need is to create songbook entries and setlists .

If you want to use different styles and sounds, that are located at another set, then use direct set and direct songbook for that .
On pa4x they are marked with green and red color so you know if each entry is internal or direct

For songbook entries and setlist editing you can use SongBook Editor v.3.0

I use the Korg Songbook Editor to maintain all my setlists. I create a new setlist for each gig by copying an existing setlist. You can cut/paste and copy songs from the Songbook to each Setlist and move them up / down. It works really really well.

It's a Korg free application located here ===> https://www.korg.com/us/support/download/software/0/516/4153/

yes I have also purchased the KORG PA MANAGER program.
The license applies to the HDD ID of your PC where WINDOWS OS is installed.
When changing the HDD ID (eg 256GB to 500GB)
the Korg Pa manager will stop working for an INVALID license.

The program can read STY, PCM, PCG, SET, PRF, WAV sample ....
You can view and edit files for Korg Pa without the KORG tool.
Connect SET banks, create new custom, change names ....
yes the price is what it is but it is the only comprehensive tool for Korg Pa.
For savvy users Korg Pa I personally recommend.

If you have questions about Korg Pa Manager I will be happy to answer or help.

PS: a new version of v4 is being prepared which will also have the right RAM size for Pa4X 1.5GB (now is max 400MB which is not correct)
