We are heaving a hard time because of the corona virus and I was not sure to post a new topic.
Anyway I decided to post it.

I have 65MB of RAM memory left in my Pa1000 and I wanted to add some styles (with samples), and I noticed I don't have any available user slots, neither for Sound Users nor DK Users.

I hope, when everything is back to normal because of the corona virus, Korg will add more User Slot (for Sounds & DK) for PA1000 in the next update.

In the meantime stay safe guys/gals.

I agree with BR, We need more slots. I have 220 MB free RAM but don't have any slots left for sounds and styles.
Pa1000 has only 4 user sound banks, why can't we have more?

Best

Al

Hello,
when there are not enough slots left for sounds and styles, rather that seems to be a problem with how to organize internal memory (http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=124240).

Running out of user slots happens if user memory is considered and configured like one indivisible, unique constant read-only memory, that is containing all resources for every conceivable session.

Instead, user memory should be accepted as it is intended: as mobile memory, which can be configured at any time according to a new situation/next session by loading a SET.
