I don't know if it's firmware or not, but midi out works when moving controllers, playing notes on the keyboard, everything is transmitted.
But when a sequenced is then launched, no midi out is tranmitted, except, if you actually move a controller, or play a note WITH the sequence running on the background, those are transmitted.
Can someone possibly look into the firmware itself, or know how to forward the request to Korg devs? |

I think it's not just firmware related, volca modular IMHO has no MIDI chip, just few simple AD/DA converters for controllers, notes and digital clock chip. So sequencer is just not connected to any MIDI processor.
