i finally picked up a 2nd hand Kick. has anyone done any hardware mods?
i've seen a couple of topics on reddit but that's all so far.

thanks. i think i saw a youtube video - was it the same mod?
seems like this might be worth trying with a temporary connector, to be able to try other resistor values. (that's what i did with the C78 snare mod for Beats, couldn't have done it any other way, too small and perilous)

does the pulse need to be louder? wasn't my first thought.

still wondering what the labelled pcb pads could do. VCO/VCA FM to filter? to pitch?

Unfortunately I can't answer those questions, as I don't own a Kick, but I think the video might be the same.
I just found that page because I use the MIDI Out mod from that same web site, which I have done to all my Volcas.
