Hi: What I am trying to do is have the harmony come on and off again while playing a midi file. Also, sometimes I might play guitar with a midi file. If there is a way to have the midi file control the harmony button on and off also following the chords in the midi file so the harmonies are correct. |

I use a second damper pedal in the Assignable pedal jack and assign harmony on/off to it. This works fine provided I am playing along on the keyboard with vocal harmony recognizing the chords I play.
It is possible to re-assign vocal harmony to recognise chords from a particular midi track but for this to work you would need to make sure the main chordal accompaniment is always in a particular track. You could then play guitar and use the harmony pedal. _________________ Free SoundFonts: https://sites.google.com/site/soundfonts4u/

Thanks Reuben for the reply. I already use my assignable pedal for volume control on some songs. It still could work but I am assuming that this is a global function and would not change when loading different song setups. Is that right? |
