Hey all,
first post, but long time Korg user.
In between projects so I've updated my Logic install to 10.5, and am having an issue with the Polysix plug in version 2.0.5
Everything loads fine, sounds as it should but after a few seconds the sound turns into a staccato type sound with the sound being cut off as per the sound file, the chords in the end are held down...

Changing to another patch and then back again return everything back to normal.
Anyone run across this?
The standalone app is fine...

OK, so more digging, wasn't able to reproduce the fault on my laptop. Grasping at straws I delete the .cmap and .fxb files out of the KORG Legacy folder and the issue has disappeared.
Leaving this here in case someone else runs into the same issue.

Have you done a complete uninstall, reboot and reinstall with the latest version of the plug in? |

Updated to the newest point releases and now 3 plugins don't validate in Logic Pro 10.5.
They are:
MS-20
MS-20FX
Polysix
I see other people have exactly the same issue on the forum at KVR Audio, but no one can find any solutions online.
Best guesses from Googling are that this is an error related to Korg wrapping a VST plugin instead of developing a separate AU, and that there is a code error that prevents a parameter being set in the wrapper.
Hopefully we will see a fix soon... |

Weird that they validate for some of us and not for others...
Maybe it's an issue with a specific version of the OS, I'm still on Mojave! |

I didn't think about that, it would be helpful if everyone posted their MacOS.
I'm still on Mojave as well.
I don't see myself moving to Catalina anytime soon.
There's still too many problems with music software on that os. |
