Anyone running the Triton VST on a standard non SSD drive without issues? I see that the suggested is SSD, but not mandated. My drive isn’t SSD, but fairly larger and is 7200. My RAM and processor are fine. With such a small footprint (even with all the expansions), I’m surprised to see that an SSD is recommended.

I don't know firsthand, but I'm guessing that an SSD will be able to stream the Triton samples faster than a platter hard drive.
It's the only thing I can think of. |
