I love evolving textures of the Wavestation (I have an SR) but am not interested in rhythmic wave sequencing. The Wavestate demos pretty much showcase the rhythmic capabilities of Wave Sequencing 2.0. Would the Wavestate provide an advantage over the Wavestation SR when it comes to evolving textures?

As someone who was intimately involved with the development of both products, I'd say it absolutely does! All of the organic capabilities of Wave Sequencing 2.0's separate lanes, realtime control, modulation, and realtime randomization features make for lovely, evolving pads.

Scroll down to the SoundCloud demos here, and listen to Pretty Pads All In A Row, Iceland Piano Pad, and Motion Metal:

Here's an evolving pad with vocal samples:

Thanks. I just need to test a Wavestate, but it seems that no store has one in stock in the US!
