Volca Sample fault/damage - corrupted memory?

Hi there everyone, I've been having some trouble with a volca sample and was wondering if I could get any help or input as to what the issue might be..

The memory or samples seem to be wiping themselves off the device after being powered off for a while. After booting the patterns seem to play (lights, sequencing etc) normally but there's absolutely no output no matter what I've plugged into the jack, twiddling the sample selector knob shows 'S. ---' Factory reset and restoration of default patterns hasn't had any effect.

Was able to load default samples back on with my phone last night, but I turned it on this morning and it seems to be blank again
