song book

Post by Backpool »

can a song book library be purchased anywhere to load on the 300/600 ??

I know styles are available commercially but just wondered if you can buy a ready made 'song book' file to load

Thanks - keith

Keith I think that would be tough to provide to customers. Songbook entries point to specific sound locations and sounds. Since these can be adjusted by the board owners, there would trouble having a universal Songbook. Also, everybody has a different idea of what constitutes a proper readymade book. IMHO 8)

Thanks for your reply ...
I am more into Yamaha than Korg ...so just assumed it would be much the same situ. as their Playlist/music finder functions, which work in the same way as songbook. Where you have a 'bog standard base list' ( just basic templates ) and then edit and resave your own tweaks to then create your own files.
At the moment I am just saving my own names and settings into my own personal songbook, which is fine.

I gathered there was not much around other than the 'factory' songbook pre-installed to the board ... but, many thanks again for your reply
