Dear All,

What is the maximum RAM we can have in Korg Kronos 2 Keyboard. I have a factory 4 GB RAM. Which is almost full when loading the Preload.ksc and other files.

I saw a empty RAM slot in the Motherboard.
Meanwhile I searched in internet and saw that the Motherboard Asrock IMB-140D with Intel Atom D2550 Processor can handle a Maximum of 4 GB RAM, (which is the factory supplied).

Even if I buy a 2 GB or 4 GB RAM for the empty slot, will it add memory to the existing !
Or the Motherboard/Processor will just recognize only 4 GB RAM, (even if another RAM is added)

Please advise.
Thanks,
Stephen

Any additional RAM above 4 GB will indeed be useless. Any K2 has approximately 1960 MB available for KSC loading in RAM. The rest is used by the OS and other things.
