I am a big fan of the Korg Mini- and Monologue, but I am a terrible keyboard player. I am however a pretty decent wind player, and I recently purchased a wind controller, an Akai EWI SOLO. Do you think it would be possible to use it to control the Mini- or Monologue?
The EWI sends out Velocity, Pitch Bend and Portamento, which I am fairly certain the synth will handle, but it also sends out breath as CC#2. Would the Mini- or Monologue be able to process and use that? My hope is that the higher the value of CC#2, the louder the sound will be, as well as affecting a filter, LFO, or something else like that.
Presuming MIDI-Routing isn't an issue, do you think this would work? |
