|
|
For some time I've had both a pa600 that I play regularly and in cupboard my older pa500, and was looking to perhaps trade both for the pa700. I'm now seriously thinking of getting a quality B3 VI and using it with the pa500, dedicated as a second upper manual, a stacked pair.
I have a couple of organs still, an Eminent 2000 and a Hammond EX2000, but their sounds are poor, old technology and weak audio, and i'm confident that I can get new life out of the pa500 by using it a VI B3.
I'd like to hear from anyone who has done this.
I use a quality external amp plus good speakers (with ribbon tweeters) to provide useful output volume, and was thinking that instead of switching sounds on the pa600, I'd duplicate my old organ arrangement.
I might even add a pedal base setup if I get ambitious. _________________ David |
