I’m still fairly new to using Ableton and the M1 VST.
Is there a way to save a few of my favourite sounds as “favourites”
So that when I’m browsing through I don’t have to browse through hundreds of sounds that are not suitable I can just browse through my favourites?

In the M1 VST there are User "Cards" for Programs and for Combis, where it is possible to copy sounds that are liked, so they're all together. Click on the Prog or Combi button, then Browser, and select the Card tab. Right click on a wanted Program or Combi, and select Copy, then right click on a User card location, right click and select Paste.
Don't forget to save when finished, or the "favourites" will be gone the next time the VST is loaded.
