|
|
Hi, hoping someone can help me out...
I'm trying to set up a split keyboard with midi. Everything works good except that I want to disable the pitch wheel on the timbre going to the low end. I've gone through the patch settings and can't figure it out. The midi is being used with a drum machine that's controlling the low end timbre, but when I'm using the pitch wheel for the high end timbre it's bending the low end as well which i don't want. Make sense?? |

Hi DiscoDean!
Edited:
I first replied with how to do this on the Radias, then I realized you were asking about the R3.
I don't have an R3, but according to the manual on page 26, the R3 should have the Bend Range setting under "PITCH-B".
Change this setting to 0 for your lower timbre:
Hope this helps! _________________ M3 | Kronos | Radias | Wavestation | Cubase 9.5 |

This didn't do what I was hoping...
I only want the pitch wheel to affect the upper end of the split keyboard and not the bottom. This adjusts the whole keyboard on both timbres.
Maybe what I want to do isn't possible? |

Hi,
For your split keyboard setup.
How did you set it up on the Korg R3? I.e. what is the voice mode that you are using? _________________ microKORGXL, Kaossilator Pro, monotribe, SQ-1, volca fm, Kross 88 BK

I dont have an R3 either, but can you just set pitch bend range to zero for that timbre? Page 26 of the manual. |

Actually yes this is how to do it, thank you! Not sure why it wasn't working the first time, but for sure once the timbres are split you can set the range of each separately. |
