Maybe someone could help me with this
I am new to the PA 1000....I have not been able save a style (in this case sanctuary pop ) to any location so I can then edit it as recommended in previous posts. What specific buttons are pushed ? The only thing that I have been able to save so far is a song I wrote in sequencer mode because the dropdown menu gave me the the option. Where is the option to save style to song. Its not on the dropdown menu. I want to use the groove and write a song around it.(new chord progression, new bass ect...) I've seen all the tutorials but it is just not working. I'm probably missing something very simple stupid!!
i have 1.5.0 |

This is for an older model but should be similar on Pa1000, I am sure you can figure it out if you found some steps done differently.
After setting up your style the way you want it:
Important: Enable song list edit in the screen menu first or your changes won’t take effect
1 - Press "Songbook" button
2 - Press the "Book Edit 1" tab
3 - Select the "Write Current Resource" box ( you have to do this to create a new song entry!
4 - Change the settings here you want for example song name, artist, key etc.
5 - Write keyboardset settings using the "Write keyboardset " option and if you want all 4 keyboardset saved then click the "All Current Style keyboardset " option - note you can save each keyboardset individually 1/2/3/4 and 'Write'
6 - Press "book edit 2" tab
7 - Setup the options here for "Synchro start" Intro and Variation etc
8 - Press "New song" button
9 - Press "Write" button
10 - Press "T" button to give song a name
11 - Select "New song"
12 - Press "OK"
You now have a new song in your songbook
HTH
Best

Thanks Al ..unfortunately pa1000 has no book edit tab to check the resource box you mentioned ...so i was dead in the water right there. All i found was in the drop down menu enable list edit...but that was no help either. |

i have 1.5.0 | You need to Copy your Factory Style and then Paste it to one of the empty slot in User or Favorite area.
1- Select/Highlight your Factory style.
2- Click on drop down menu (Top Right of the screen) and click on Copy/Paste.
3- Go to User or Favorite area, look for an empty slot.
4-Click on an Empty slot (it pastes the Factory style you selected in previous step).
From there you can customize/edit and save the style.
Hope that helps. |
