Same sequence but with a different piano:

Sampled Piano is a single velocity layer (v13 of 16) from the Salamander Grand released under Creative Commons 3.0 license.
The piano combi is comprised of 5 programs. Each program varies only by different values of Low pass filter cutoff and Filter EG intensity (the same parameters that are modified when using knobs 1 and 3 of the realtime controls). This creates in a very simple way 5 derived or virtual layers from the single v13 sample layer. The combi then uses velocity zone mapping to choose which of the 5 programs to play for a given note velocity. Certainly not as good as using 5 separate sample layers, but with limited resources, it sort of works. _________________ bpoodoo
