Hi,
I have connected my kawai digital piano to PA700 for chord detection and accompaniment
The piano does not have controls or buttons send custom midi cc events
Is it possible to trigger pa700 style controls ( variation, break etc) using midi note
This way i can use lowest midi notes to trigger the style controls.

Regards
Vikas

I have found out from manual that Korg arranger listen at style control elements through program change messages in a special channel called control. So it does not look like a midi note can be mapped to trigger style elements

Page number 896 of manual "controlling the arranger and player via Midi "

I end up using korg nanopad2 , to program various program change events
and now enjoying an excellent 88 key piano and powerful korg arranger

Smile
