We got our PA700 today and it sounds fantastic so we’re wanting to put together songs to use in our duo but here’s the problem..
We put together a great style and sounds that really sound great!
After we put these things together we use the drop down and save it to a blank area, we name it then move on to create another song. The problem?
The styles have changed in the saved songs and we can’t use it.
What are we doing wrong?
Thanks |

Is this what you mean, page 118 of manual ??
Create a new SongBook Entry
1 Keep the SONGBOOK button pressed for about one second to create a new SongBook Entry. The Write Song dialog will appear. As an alternative, go to one of the SongBook Entry edit pages, and touch the New Song button, then the Write button.
2 While in the Write Song dialog, touch the Text Edit ( ) icon if you want to edit the name of the Entry, then touch OK to save the Entry to the SongBook database.
A lot of posters here make changes to a style and save as a Songbook entry as above.
Good luck |

Thank you for your reply. I’m not sure this is what I was talking about but since I don’t know what I’m talking about it could be. Lol!
When I am putting together a new song (style, upper 1,2&3 voices) I use the pull down menu where it says to save. I name it and the song is displayed in the set list on the row of buttons above the keyboard. Then when I create a new song with a different style the one I previously did now has that style instead of the one I chose for it.
Just to explain what I mean by “song”..
My wife and I have this duo and we do classic rock songs so if we want to do say, “Tequila Sunrise” we need a particular style and instruments for that song. We’re not actually sequencing a song we’re just putting the elements together to play it. After Tequila Sunrise we might want to go to Bohemian Rhapsody and we set up the song for those elements.Bohemian Rhapsody won’t sound good with a country rock beat so we have to depend on each song having its own style etc. |

As a test make the song “Bad Moon Rising”.
1 Select style ROLLING ROCK. Adjust volumes of upper 1,2,3 and lower.
2 Hold down SONGBOOK button for 2 seconds. A box appears. Make sure “New Song” button is lit. Type “Bad moon rising”, in place of Rolling Rock. Press OK. Bad Moon Rising will be added to Songbook. The trick is to bring it back later and edit. (Release, cut off, panning etc)
Try FOO ROCK with “Arms of Mary”. Fab.
If this is not what you meant then someone else will come to your aid for sure. |
