i was lucky enough to see the Stones live in Concert in the early '70's in San Francisco ..beside just being an incredible night of music I came away realizing how underrated Charlie was as a drummer ..he was the back bone of this Band ..his steady beats kept the whole sound together .and along with the incredible Bill Wyman they formed the perfect pocket rhythm section ..they carried every song allowing all the other members complete freedom , knowing Charlie & Bill held that Groove together . you will be missed Charlie Watts

My Condolences...
The news of Charlie Watts passing saddens the music world. He was a true corner stone in Rock History that will certainly be remembered for how important his part was in creating today's music. Glad to see him being so fondly remembered across the Internet.
