It mostly depends on the speed of the internet connection, and how many other users there are on the network downloading/streaming stuff. On a 100Mbps connection, with no contention from other users, it should take something like 2 to 3 minutes.

Thank you voip, for such a quick and clear response. I've now updated to V1.2. I used an empty USB stick formatted using my Nautilus ensuring I selected FAT 32 instead of FAT 16.
I just wonder now should I have updated to V1.1 first before 1.2 or will the amendments in 1.1 already be included in V1.2 thus obviating the necessity to update to 1.1 first. |

The Operating System updates are pretty much the complete OS, so all of the changes present in v1.1 should be rolled up in v1.2.
In the download .zip file, there should be a subfolder called Manual, containing documentation in different languages. Open the file called: NAUTILUS_Update_V1_1a_E1.pdf and verify that the changes outlined in this document for the v1.1 update are indeed present in the v1.2 update e.g. the changed label name in the Global | Basic page. If you go to the Global | Basic page and see "HD-1 Program Overview" just below the Sample to Disk parameter in the centre of the screen, then this v1.1 change is indeed present in the v1.2 upgrade. If it shows "Play Page Overview" then the v1.1 changes are not present.
