Radias get a little warm on back panel?
I was wondering if any other Radias users can confirm that the unit can get a little warm in roughly the area where the adapeter jack is located. bought used. Seems like in excellent condition all around. My only concern is that it felt a tiny bit warm in back by adapter jack I dont get any heat at all on my new gear (Peak, Minilogue XD, MC707) but these might have more modern electronics that don’t waste as much power and give off little to no noticeable heat. Any feedback would be great. Thx!
The Radias consumes around 14 Watts, measured at the mains power plug, whan powered up, so a small temperature rise above ambient is to be expected. For comparison, a Wavestate consumes about 3 to 4 Watts, so the temperature rise will be lower, and the temperature reached might well be below the point at which we perceive it as warm.
Also consider that, for a given temperature, a metal case will always feel warmer than a plastics one, because of the higher thermal conductivity of the metal.

Great. Thanks for the info
Really appreciate it. I kept it on in the background for a couple of hours and it did not heat up any more than the initial warmth. I did notice a little warmth (just a bit) on the LCD screen - which is very close to the rear panel so im not too concerned. Everything is working great. I did notice that the LCD has verticle streaks (looks "behind" the text) when I turn up the contrast past 6 - so that might go at some point but its not noticable at 6 level of contrast. Hoefully it wont deteriorate further. Until then, im going to enjoy this very fun synth.
