Just read the manual and the Midi info is sketchy. I want to just send the tempo (midi clock Internal, at the tempo set on i3) to another instrument. But I don’t want the i3 to send anything else (note data, program change info etc.) Is this possible? |

found out the answer to my query above.
of course that's *after* snagging an i3 used. I'm impressed with the board in many ways -- that Triton soundset might be aged but it still works.
the i3 can't seem to act as a MIDI master clock. my other gear did not recognize it, and there are only Internal/External settings under MIDI.
if I've missed something needed to have the i3 send just tempo out, pls share here!
thanks |
