Hi Friends,
Came back from The Namm show, earlier today. I have to say, there was a lot of companies that didn’t attend this year. And, it didn’t feel as busy as what it used to be. No Korg boot, no Roland boot, Zildjian Sennheiser, and so on.
Korg did have this small place, with couple chairs that had 4-5 people from Korg Usa having a meeting. I would say Namm show this year, was not worth it.
That being said, GearFest is coming up. With a lot of talks about a possible Korg PA5x, and from what I know Korg will be there, including many other brands. Do you think, they will announce the keyboard there? Are we really expecting a KorgPa5x, or any new arranger from Korg at all?
Would love to know, what you all think.

Would be good but "expect" is a very very strong word when it comes to Korg
I think Korg's new marketing motto should read ....We said "perhaps" and that's final !!.... 
Well I suppose that's not really true because so far, they've said nothing

I have ZERO Trust ON KORG!
I,m sorry, I have LOVET RESPECTED and Had KORG so manny years, but after this strange behavior in videos Photos and so, I dont know what to say.

Middle June european dealers will get a private presentation of the pa5x locally in Austria
30 June the PA5x will be officially released/presented in an an online event. (Probably by an Italian or German that speaks horrible English)
Presenting an arranger at a US event makes no sense at all.
No clue when the Pa5x will be available for sales, you never know this where Korg Italy is involved might be anywhere between July and November 2022

Hopefully, that is the case. While the Pa4x, is great and still being used by many. I and others i’m sure, would love to see a new arranger from Korg.
I guess, we will wait and see. And hopefully as you said, it’s announced by end of the month.

Gearfest only started a few years ago...and now it's an online-only event. I hardly doubt anyone would specifically use 'Gearfest' to launch a major brand new product, unless they were just looking for an excuse.

I messaged Korg Usa, to see what kind of response I would get in regards to if any, a Korg Pa5x.
Obvious, and expected response but here it is. I have removed the names from the email.

As of this time, Korg has not announced any new models for the PA series. Kronos was discontinued some months ago. The new flagship in the Korg product line is the Nautilus.
We don't have information available regarding future product development. Any information regarding new or forthcoming Korg products will be provided on the official Korg website (www.korg.com) as any such information becomes available.

.....I don't ever remember Korg actually announcing the Kronos being discontinued or that the Nautilus is their new TOTL!!!
We (well certainly I) had to guess that....
Just checked their website and Kronos is there in all its glory - no mention of "discontinued" - still has a "Buy Now" button.

Intelligent, professional product marketing communication seems to be lacking here and it is a great shame.

1 Their webmaster has screwed up and not flagged it as Discontinued.
2 They have old stock.

Korg removed most of the expensive interface and cut Karma …. Just dtonsink the price a few €100 but still have a much larger profit gain.
To me the Nautilus is an expensive competitor to modx and Fantom 0. Korg seems to have left the TOTL market
