Reasons why I am considering it:
Setting up multiple sample libraries.
Often it seems you have to mute certain factory rom banks in order to load new ones. With two units you could load twice as many.
Two keybeds:.
Both Mronos 88 and Kronos 61 have top notch actions. Hammer action and synth action, many players want one of each.
Twice as many audio tracks, effects configurations, and midi tracks. Also double karma though I haven't got around to scrutinizing that aspect yet.
Main question:
How well do 2 units sync up. Sample accurate? Is simple midi sync good enough? |

Used Kronos are hard to find these days. About reaching max polyphony on a single unit, it's always possible to switch instruments during a sequence to minimize problems. |

A good tip to be sure.
Another advantage would be not having to learn a new machine.
To reiterate, having 2 machines loading totally different samples and patches is the main reason I am interested in doing this.
Kronos is at this point is like the ASR10--a desirable unit no longer in production. But those who want one will continue to search despite they're being thin on the ground... |

I just replaced a Pa4X with a 5X
The Kronos / Pa Arranger combination is a great setup. KRONOS Semi-weighted RH3 keys, as well as Synth style Fatar keybed in the Pa5X (Great feel) - Best of both worlds (IMHO) _________________ Dave Kalbach
