The "Ribbon Controller" under the Joystick doesn't react to anything, it doesn't do anything!

Look at the: Home > Menu > Keyboard/Ensemble > Ribbon/After Touch page, and check that the Ribbon Controller has actually been assigned to that particular Set. If it has been assigned, try pressing on the ribbon with the edge of a fingernail.
Also, look at the Settings > Menu > Controllers > Hand where it is possible to set the Ribbon sensitivity.

Refer to page 497 of the Performance guide.
Each sound has a ribbon controller option which has to be activated or deactivated for each sound.
