|
|
Hi all,
I have a bit of a strange one here and I may not be describing it well, but how do I get the Pa5x to play the chords using the sounds of the style of the lower side when the keyboard is stationery, as in no style is playing but when playing chords you can still hear a full sounds from the styles before you start it. On the Pa1000 its there, but on the Pa5x its completely silent. When I select "lower" it just plays whatever sound is selected in lower (normally strings or pad) but that's not what I am after. I hope someone knows what I am trying to describe here and I hope its something that I can turn on somewhere but I can't seem to find it. I think its on by default on the Pa1000 (and possibly the Pa4x).
Thank you very much,
All the best,
Danny |

Not sure if this is what you are after? But try this
Hold down the "SHIFT" button and then press the MEMORY button which is above the style "VAR 2" button (while still holding the SHIFT button)
You should see PREFERENCS page on the main screen this is indicated in top left corner... now look for MEMORY MODE: and choose the setting you want...try "chord + lower"....
Hope this helps? _________________ Korg PA5X-76 : Yamaha Montage M8x : Roland Jupiter 80 : Waldorf STVC : Roland Integra 7 : Waldorf Streichfett : Focal Trio6 ST6 : Studio Outboards/RME Audio Interface/A&H SQ Mixer : |

Hi D575,
Thank you very much yes it’s in that menu but it’s called Bass & Lower Backing, I checked the box and it’s now exactly as I want! Perfect!
One other quick question whilst I’m here, is there a ‘lower hold’ feature? I use it a lot on the Genos but not sure if it’s on the pa5x as well.
Thank you for your help,
Danny. |

OK great.... I think what you are after this time is what I described initially in my original response. _________________ Korg PA5X-76 : Yamaha Montage M8x : Roland Jupiter 80 : Waldorf STVC : Roland Integra 7 : Waldorf Streichfett : Focal Trio6 ST6 : Studio Outboards/RME Audio Interface/A&H SQ Mixer : |
