Hallo, Forum, and thank you for allowing me to join.

Does anyone use the Kenton Midi USB Host mk3 device with their EK-50 ?

(It's a connector which takes the USB line out from from EK-50, and gives you a traditional 5-pin Midi-in and -out .)

Sincerely

Ian G

Yes, I've used the Kenton MkII successfully with the EK-50. Also Tom Scaff's Midi channel changer to connect up my Nord 27-Key bass pedals changing from Nord's fixed ch3 to the EK's ch4

Thanks - that's useful to know. Hopefully the Mk III (the current offer) will work as well.
I haven't yet tried connecting my EK-50 'out' by either route - for the moment I'm using the .export/import by stick', but I will certainly be trying cable at some stage.
