Hey all,

My friend accidenatly dropped his Kronos 2 that was in a gig bag. Yes I know, sounds terrible lol. I was like how did you drop this amazing keyboard. But it happens. Only thing broken, is the lcd touch display. He ordered a replacement from Ebay, and that screen came broken as well that happened in shipping.

So he told me if I can order a new one for him, are there any specific ones that i’m supposed to look at or any sites you would recommend? And he wants to change the screen himself. The one he ordered, was just a plastic screen I believe had a tape and like connecter to it.

Thank you!

*Update*

Thanks to Korg’s fast reply lol, they told me the website for the authorized retailer where to purchase it. Email sent, two minutes later, I received a response.

Ordered the screen for my friend.

Is it the actual LCD screen that is cracked or the touch panel glass? Or both? As for the self repairing goes, just be super careful with the flat flexible cables connectors, the can break pretty easily. Good luck.

The touch panel, he’s only able to switch sounds by using the knobs/buttons. Yeah I even told him, that I wouldn’t recommend doing it himself and suggested to take it to a local repair shop.

But the good thing is, the screen is ordered if any case he does need to take it to the shop, he doesn’t have to wait for the repair shop to order the part for him.

Thank you!
