I am using flowkey and trying to get the sound to play on my 4x. Any help would be appreciated.

I am not familiar with flowkey, but playing 'sound' from flowkey through your pa4X probably means using midi data (rather than just audio).

I have done some basic research and it seems that flowkey is able to use midi over Bluetooth. As flowkey is made by Yamaha, then I would recommend that you use the Yamaha MD-BT01 midi interface for this purpose (it is not expensive).

You will need to read the Korg Pa4X User Manual (Part XIII of the Next OS manual) for instruction on your midi settings so that it works correctly. I use the Yamaha MD-BT01 midi interface with my Pa4X for another purpose and it is flawless.

This article shows flowkey and the bluetooth interface being used with a clavinova - the general principles will be similar for Pa4x provided you read the section of Pa4x User Manual carefully to get the settings right.

If you want to play audio sound (eg spoken words) - rather than midi, or both - then you need to connect an audio lead from iPad earphone socket to the Line 2 Stereo input on Pa4X (see Part VIII) of user manual.
