|
|
I bought a new Nanokontrol Studio to mix on the go. Unfortunately bluetooth doesn't work at all.
It's on:
System: MAC Catalina 10.15.7 (latest version)
Korg NanoKontrol Studio: Latest Firmware (Check with update software)
Power supply: via USB (also tried via battery - same result)
Korg Bluetooth Midi App installed.
Now I connect the Nanokontrol Studio via the Korg app (alternatively, I have already connected it via the Midi Studio - but it comes to the same thing). Successful. The device is connected and remains stably connected.
Now I open Cubase or Ableton (tested in both) and select (using Ableton as an example) "mackie Control" for the Midi Control Surface and then "nanokontrol bluetooth" for input and output.
As soon as I do this, the entire bluetooth connection erupts in the Korg app.
ALL Bluetooth midi devices are thrown out or disconnected.
Sometimes the connection lasts 1 minute - then all functions of Ableton from the controller work and then - whoosh - he throws them all out again and all devices are disconnected and cannot be reconnected without restarting.
I have 2 Macbooks (2019 i9 and 2020 i5 - both Intel). So I can't understand why it just doesn't work with this device. Korg Support couldn't give me an answer either.
Have any of you had the same problem and if so - how did you solve it?
thanks in advance |
