| Try printing to PDF using something like CutePdf or similar, this usually removers the security descriptors. The saved PDF should then be able to be edited. Just be sure you aren’t rasterizing or down-sampling during the recreation of the new PDF as you don’t want to lose quality/resolution. |

Also, pretty sure the manual you are referring to is version 2 of the manual for the K1 and not the manual for the Kronos 2, but as others will point out, aside from the motherboard and other minor differences, K1 and K2 are pretty much the same. |

| Unless you have the password to unlock the document, attempts to bypass this using other means will make you lose all internal links contained in the document, which will make PDFs such as the Kronos parameter manual rather useless. |

Try Calibre viewer.
Somtimes it even dtsassembles completely the elements of a pdf document.
