I just found out the pa5x has 320 slots available for songbook entries. Also when trying to delete multiple songbook numbers I get “delete error”.
I have 1614 entries in my Songbook on pa1000? No errors…
So if you exceed the the songbook limit you will get “songbook entry error”

And when you add user styles and bank, they go in alphabetical order. Which is not good when you have a songbook linked to a style within the bank. If you add styles to a user, it change the style slots and will mess up the songbook number.

I report these to Korg US. Looks like in next update?
I feel I can gig with the pa5x once I have the songbook filled up.
But musicians that perform many different gigs, may need more entries than 320.

not sure what you mean, but in my pa5x songbook I have over 1200 songs stored without any problems.

Same here, I have 1042 entries with no problems & can add more again with no problems.

Pa5X uses computer file system in Styles, KBD SET , Songbooks and the limit is only the size of media storage !
- You can store unlimited songbook files in mSD ( hundred of thousands ) that were created by Pa5X ,
there are no slots , they are just treated as single files.
- Whatever error you will face is only a matter of compatibility of older PaSeries that were created !
- Also check folder protection you keep them (by unprotect) , PC/Mac add security attributes in processed folders.
