can anyone explain this to me why this happens? and this has happened on several occasions in the past 3 years.....
i record a vocal track on audio track 10 for instance. i then save it in disk mode just like ive done for years(im pretty experienced on this board now),
then when i go to load the song back, suddenly track 10 doesnt have anything on it.
HOWEVER, when i go to disk, and go to song A file, and open and find track 10, the recorded audio file is still sitting there with the rest of the tracks that i recorded for that song. for some reason, that track doesnt load to the song slot with the rest of the song nor does it attach itself to the song cause its still in disk mode there. can anyone explain to me how to get that audio file to load with the song? also, keep in mind, i have a lot of takes with each of those tracks usually. thanx |

So you have recorder in your sequence song an audio track 10.
So what goes wrong ???
THIS :
When your record a sequence which includes also audio tracks :
The first thing to do is to create a folder in your indernal disk
where you must abolutely put your wav files oof that song
(generally the kronos creates 2 audio tracks. (STEREO L and R)
I RECOMMEND TIO YOU TO SAVE ALSO THE ORIGINAL WAV FILE
You must also make A SAVE ALL in this folder.
The the next time you will load your song she will naturally load also your audio tracks.
I always do like that since years and IT WORKS !

Thanx but you didn't really answer my question. I've been saving seq to disk for years and most of the time reloading is fine. But NOW that its not playing the audio file thats still sitting there in disk mode where its supposed to be, HOW DO I GET IT TO PLAY TRACK 10? TIA |

I can't do it your way because that track is already lost I would have to re-record it and then if I re-recorded I can do it my way it should be fine |

Yes now I understand.
So you say that the audio file is still in the A folder of that song.
GOOD NEWS indeed
But : Your song effectively doest not load the audio track 10.
Because the audio, files are not in the AUDIO EDIT MENU
You have to go back in the AUDIO EDIT function
and put again these file in the AUDIO EDIT MENU
It is very easy

What AUDIO EDIT MENU sir?
Im track edit theres an audio edit but its not showing . So how do I get that file in DISK mode into track 10 measure 19? When I highlight that file in disk mode and press load, and enter. It says loaded. But still never shows up at measure 19 there. |

the audio edit menu? do you mean the AUDIO EVENT EDIT menu?
if so, ive done that and theres nowhere where you can move or copy a file
from disk and put it in there.

When you click in the "end" line
you can IMPORT the audio file again

I tried that already. Doesnt work. Unless there is a way to tell that file to go to measure 19 on that track it just doesn't work. |

IN THE AUDIO EVENT MENU
CLICK ON THE TRACK END
THEN YOU WILL SEE DOWN THE SCREEN THAT INSERT APPEARS
SO NOW : YOU CAN LOAD AGAIN THE AUDIO FILE
THEN YOU SEE THAT INSERT APPEAR SO

Yes thank you I see how that works now. however it puts it on a measure that I don't want it to be on it's not let me change the measure on which I want that file to start playing. How do I do it so I can assure the degoes on to measure 19 for instance

it looks like i was able to fix it!!! thanx. im just not sure
how to make sure when i import it, that it goes to the measure i need it to start on. sometimes it lets me change the measure but not always up, and not always downward.
