|
|
I've made a Cakewalk Sonar template that matches the MIDI out channels of the Pa5X.
I did a recording with a keyboard set I saved with Bass & Ride 2 on the lower and a piano on the upper 1.
When I record it, I can hear the ride cymbal. But when I play back the resultant two recorded tracks in Cakewalk, I hear just the piano and bass, no ride cymbal.
I was under the impression that the sound patch was one self-contained sound with a bass and a ride cymbal, but the fact that the playback from Cakewalk is missing the ride cymbal suggests that the patch is actually using a drum set on another channel that didn't get recorded despite all the style channels being replicated to listen on each corresponding track in Cakewalk.
Can anyone explain why this is happening and what I need to do to get the whole instrumentation to play out of the sequencer? |
