|
|
Using Cakewalk by Bandlab on Windows 11 computer.
M50 connected to computer via USB. Korg midi driver installed, M50 plugin editor installed. When I try to run the editor vst I get an error, midi driver not found. Tried removing the driver, reboot, reinstall driver, reboot, same error. Have read about going into registry and freeing up midi channels 1-9. I am reluctant to do this. Please help, thanks. |

The Korg MIDI driver install package comes with a Korg MIDI Driver Uninstall Utility, which can be used to show a list of the MIDI driver associations, and makes removing the MIDI driver entries from that list a simple task, without having to go into the Registry. The driver MIDI entries are not MIDI channels, as such.

I've got the editor to load but have no idea how to record more than one track/midi channel. I'm only allowed one instance of the editor vst so I'm baffled on how to do it. I select the sound I want from the plugin then play it on my M50. But that's just a single track/channel.
Would you know how to create more tracks/midi channels so I can add more instrument sounds? Really appreciate any help you could provide. Thanks in advance. |
