hey all just invested in these modules, spent all day yesterday trying to get them to work with DAW. Ran the usual midi cable from SSL 12 out to Wavestate in, then out of Wavestate out to OPsix in, set Wavestate to channel 1 and Opsix to channel 2, Opsix not working Sad. No control from DAW. Both Synths will work on the same channel, but not a different channel. Tried this on Bitwig/Reaper/Cubase 13, same problem. Only workaround was to connect the Wavetstate to DAW with midi cable and Opsix with USB, all of a sudden it is working now. I am going to investigate further today

Anyone else had this problem? I might invest in a Midi thru box

it seems that we=hen you connect 1 on it's own, it works as normal, once you try and daisy chain them through midi cable, only the first of the 2 work, no matter which comes first, as i have tried both ways, My minilogue XD works 100% this way, as do my other hardware, they both work together on USB, but this doesn't fit my set up, any ideas? Thanks

This sounds like normal behaviour. MIDI In is not normally connected internally to MIDI Out. This is by design, in order to prevent MIDI loops from occurring. If such an arrangement is working with the Minilogue XD, and other devices, then there must be something else going on. What other hardware does this work with, and what are the interconnections?

It is possible to daisy chain sound generators, by connecting the MIDI source to MIDI In on a device, and using MIDI Thru on that device to connect to further downstream devices. The opsix and Minilogue XD don't have MIDI Thru.
