ESX Wave Organizer is a program that allows you to organize, edit, and create .esx files for the Korg ESX-1. It uses a standard Windows "drag-and-drop" interface, letting you add .esx, .wav, .aif, and .aiff files to the ESX Wave Organizer workspace. It is available for free download here. Please sign up at the forum, and let me know what you think. I'll be adding more features to the program, and fixing any bugs that are reported. If you would like to see some features added, drop by the forum and let me know.

hey i use esx wave organizer on a pc and its a great aplications saves a lot time and it really works, but i havent found it for my mac and i would really like just to use may macbook....
does anyone know if there is a mac version of the wave organizer? if not WHY????

In Parallels you can launch a Windows app under MacOSX.
Works great!

What do you mean abou Parallels (sorry for my ignorancie). I am using a 1.5 Ghz Powerbook, not the Intel version yet. |

Unfortunately I'm afraid you need Intel CPU.

| I guess I'll have to get an Intel based Mac... I am waiting for the 12in model to come out, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. |

paul, first of all put all your samples into folders first... go through and put all kick drums together in a folder hats, waveforms, so on, all into their separate folders so they are logically separated.... this way you can drag the contents of the folders in a cronological order onto your electribe and you can just drag and drop the whole folder insted of single samples one by one.... also use a batch converter to work on batches, normalise all your samples on the computer, crop em chop em everything on the computer... if you use loops, define their length in steps in wave organizer....
the main idea is to do as much as possible on the pc because it's a hell of a lot faster then fixing it later on the machine. Also put the whole collection together in one long marathon and spend a good half a day on it, you won't dissapoint your box  . |
