I have i5s that I bought second hand from some one in Bangalore, India. Before selling to me, he had removed the floppy drive. I would like to know how to fix a new floppy drive in i5s. _________________ Music is Jeevan: Jeevan is Music. |

Best to ask you local Korg Service rep. I think the diskette drives on the i-series were fairly standard and could be quite easily changed.
All the best

Hey guys I am working on the entire Korg i series floppy drive issue, these drives are almost all non standard and have a smaller connector cable and Korg is not making parts available.
I currently have drives available for the following i series: i2/i3.
I am working on but almost finished with the: i5m, i5s, and ix300.
I am still working on the following: i4s
I need help/info on these models: i1, i30, i40m, is40, is50 what I need for info is, I need to know what the model and brand of drive is in these units and how many conductors the data cables are going to the drives. If you can help please Email me directly at: Route66studios@aol.com
all of our current Korg drives are available at www.Route66studios.com
