I've encountered a few issues / problems that I'd like some advice
on....

Data Inc. and Data Dec. (Controllers 96 & 97)

According the the Midi Implementation Chart for my N364 then these
are recognised.
On the keyboard, the Inc and Dec buttons scroll up and down between
the patches, but I can't get this to work via Midi. I've read a few
articles on the web about CCs 96 & 97 and how they differ between
manufacturers. I've tried sending values of 127 and 0, but I can't
get anything to scroll through the patches.
Does anyone know if this is possible?

RPN (Controllers 100 & 101)

According the the Midi Implementation Chart for my N364 then these
are used to set things like Pitch Bend Range (which is what I want to
control)
The manual says you need to send LSB,MSB = 00,00 to set pitch bend
range.
Reading articles on the web, it seems you need to send 3 meesgaes for
these control changes, the LSB, MSB and the value - e.g.:
100 00
101 00
6 12 (to set it to one octave)
(or some websites say you need to use CC38 instead of CC6, or even
both!)
Can anyone confirm what messages I need to send to acheive this?
(I've got a patch with bend range set to 2, and I'd like to be able
to increase it to 12 via Midi Control)

I'd be very grateful for any ideas / suggestions about these
issues....

Many thanks

you're on the right track..on my triton le...100 = 1 and 101 = 0 and playing with CC #6 values I can modify the bend range...However in the end, I don't think what we'd like to do is possible....only the range (which is not much use), course tune (aka transpose) and fine tune can be modified with the external controller...Fine tune will give a bit of the bend but only with 1 cent...quite dumb since the keyboard and go a higher range...this sux.
