Hi Shahid,
You have done a great job, it is a lovely drum kit with tabla dholak and dhol all together, i have made some nice beats using your desi kit, it sounds superb. I downloaded your kit last night when i wasn't a member of this forum.
I have one request, if you replace one of the sample in desi kit with tabmborine sound, like chhan sound as the hi hat drum sound that would be lovely as it sounds good to have a few hits of tamborine with tabla like it could be only on 1st beat or may be twice in a loop.
The sample which is in the last key "buuurruua" is not very important, you can take that off and put tamborine sound on its place.
tell me if it's a good idea, otherwise the whole kit is perfect and sequenced perfectly.
thanks shahid |

Thanks

Hi Nadim,
I am very happy if you do something desi as well as I have already done it and posted everything in this forum. I don't mind if you gonna be the second person making another desi kit which will be "desi kit-2" as mine one is "DESI Kit" and that would be another good addition to desi world.
Good Luck !!

No Shahid, you didnt understand me, i am not creating a new KIT i just
have to create your KIT cuz all you posted is SAMPLES. There is difference
between KIT and SAMPLES, we got the SAMPLES now i have to put them
together in a propper DRUM KIT on the PA800. _________________ http://www.basaristudios.com

Hi Nadim,
I have created the KIT as well with PA800 and if you download the file again, you will find "Desi_Kit.PCG" file in there as well and if you load this file alongwith the samples and have the kit ready to use. _________________ Music is a real Therapy

No KORGPA800, it wont work the way the Manual says. You got the .SET file in
there with the USERDK.PCG but thats all you got and you have to LOAD
Manually everything, what Shahid missed is the PCM files where the samples
reside, instead of it you got RAW samples which you have to LOAD Manually
and then assign them to each KIT which i am sure you dont know how to do
it and many in here. The SET was supposed to contain everything in itself
and just LOAD and play in 2 minutes.
Be a lil more patient, i am recreating the SET and i'll post it here. _________________ http://www.basaristudios.com

Hi,
The DESI Kit is already completed and I have started making DESI beats for Indian/ Pakistani songs which play wonderful with this kit.
I have been sequencing/ arranging music for the last about 10 years BUT only thing is I am new to this keyboard PA800 and I bought is just about 2 weeks ago and studying the manual regularly. My previous experience of sequencing with TYROS and with computer software like SONAR, CUBASE, Logic Audio, Fuity Loops helping me a lot, that's why I have successfully started making DESI beats with DESI kit.
Thanks to Nedim he informed me what I have missed to include in my download folder. I am gonna include the missing file and re-upload the whole folder.
My style of Sequencing DESI beats is;
All variation, Intros, Fills, Endings: all with base line and orchestra.
I play all the original pieces and store them into either PADS or into Intro Buttons or into both.
LET me upload a DESI sequence with DESI kit which I have already completed recently which is Arshad Mahmood's (Pakistani Singer) song "Dekha Jo chehra Tera" the next song gonna be his other popular song "Ho Sake to mera aik kaam karo"
The reason I am making his songs is that he is in London these days and requested me to play with him in his many live shows including DM Digital TV's live performance. So, I am sequencing his tracks for live performance with him.
I will post his first Beats/PADs sequence in thsi forum tomorrow morning.
Oh Yes, I have completes another Punjabi song as well ;
Abrar-Ul-Haq "Preeto" will upload both.
