Hi, I need a new mainboard for my micro korg - can someone point me in the right direction as to where I can purchase this?
Thanks in advance,

I've been advised not to fix this myself from the supplier but I think god loves a trier and want to do it anyway. I've been floating around google/the web aimlessly looking for it and found some mexican webpage suggesting it's $400 US.
Does anyone know where these masterboards can be purchased? or even if it's possible. perhaps any guidance on how ?
Mucho appreciato

That's right I'm going to just buy a new one but then I have this $400 paper weight of an old one so I figure fix it or perhaps give it away to someone in need ? Thanks

Well.. Here's a question:
WHY does it need a new Main Board? Are you sure it's the main board? |

From what I've been advised by the man in the shop the mainboard has been fried like a haggis on a cold scottish morning. Coming from America the 110 standard voltage was a small measure against the 240v that went through it like lightening when it was plugged into the Aussie connection. I thought a small fuse or capacitor would've been the key but
Still looking for a main board, it just seems a waste to throw it in the bin.
Anyone know of how to track this part....with ease.
thanks

grab a cosmetically beat-up or broken microkorg on eBay and swap out the motherboard. Or see if you can buy a display model from a music store (our local Daddy's has one listed on ebay right now). They're usually cosmetically beat up (missing knobs etc.) but are fine for parting out. |
