My PAX is playing Up

Post by worth »

My PA1X has decided to power itself off whist i am playing. There is no warning or tell tale signs that something is obviously wrong other than the instrument simply shutting down. It cant be powered back up. Has anyone had this problem before and what do you suggest i do ?

I can only suggest you phone Korg support at Milton Keynes after 10AM on Monday. Speak to one of the technicians.
Previous Korg workstations like the I3 have always been so reliable. I am hearing about other folk having technical problems with their Pa1X and the Pro. My korg is just back from repair at Korg and that fault was a difficult one to sort out. I wonder why this faults are occurring??
The guys at Korg are very helpful. Sorry I am not a Tech person so I cannot suggest any quick fix.

Hi worth,
The first thing I would try is a new power cord just in case its something that simple - the power cord to your PC would do.
Beyond that it sounds like a faulty transformer.
Hope you get it sorted soon.

John

Are you sure that the fault is with your Pa1X and not with the power supply from the mains you were connected to?
